Hightech Terms of Sale and Data Protection
Terms of Sale
1. Definitions
- Online store – the hightech.ee e-shop.
- Buyer / customer – a consumer or legal person who makes a purchase.
- Consumer – a natural person who purchases an item for purposes not related to their trade, business or profession.
2. Product and pricing information
- Product prices are shown on the product page in euros and include the VAT applicable in the Republic of Estonia at the time of purchase.
- Delivery costs may be added depending on the selected shipping method; the delivery price is shown in the cart before order confirmation.
- Product information (key features, scope of delivery) is provided in English on the product page.
3. Placing an order and concluding the contract in the online store
- Select the desired products and add them to the cart.
- At checkout, fill in the required fields (name, email, phone, delivery address) and choose a payment and delivery method.
- Before confirmation, the order total (goods price, taxes, delivery) will be displayed.
- The order confirmation button is labeled “Place order and pay” or similarly unambiguous text.
- After submitting the order, an automatic acknowledgment of receipt will be sent to the Buyer by email.
- The sales contract takes effect once the amount due has been credited to Hightech Commerce OÜ’s bank account and Hightech has confirmed the order.
4. Payment
Payment methods (bank links, card, other payment solution, hire purchase, bank transfer) are shown at checkout or stated on the offer/invoice. The payment service providers’ terms may apply according to the provider.
5. Delivery
- We deliver goods to a parcel locker or by courier to the address specified by the Buyer within Estonia and, where selectable in the cart, to other EU countries.
- Shipments within Estonia and to Latvia and Lithuania usually arrive within 1–3 business days from the entry into force of the contract; within the EU, up to 10 calendar days.
- In exceptional cases, delivery may take up to 30 calendar days (we will inform the Buyer in the order confirmation or offer).
- The risk of accidental loss of or damage to the goods passes to the Buyer upon handover of the goods. On-site pickup is not available.
6. 14-day right of withdrawal (for consumers)
- The Consumer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days from receiving the goods, without giving reasons.
- The withdrawal notice may be emailed in free form to input@hightech.ee, indicating the order/invoice number, dates (ordered/received), name and address.
- The direct costs of returning the goods are borne by the Buyer (except where the reason for return is Hightech’s breach).
- Hightech will refund all payments received (including the cost of the ordinary least expensive type of delivery) within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice; Hightech may withhold reimbursement until the returned goods have been received or the Buyer has supplied evidence of having sent back the goods.
- The Consumer is liable for any decrease in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and functioning of the goods.
- We recommend opening the product packaging carefully. Returned goods should be as complete as possible. The absence of the original packaging or accessories may result in compensating a reasonable reduction in the value of the goods, but does not deprive the consumer of the right of withdrawal.
- The Consumer must send back the goods no later than 14 days from making the withdrawal notice.
- The right of withdrawal does not apply to: goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized; sealed audio/video recordings and software if the seal has been opened after delivery; sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene and were unsealed after delivery. The right of withdrawal does not apply to legal persons.
7. Hightech’s 30-day money-back guarantee (for consumers)
- The 30-day money-back guarantee is an additional guarantee that does not limit rights granted to consumers by law. The return rules are the same as for the 14-day withdrawal.
8. Sample withdrawal notice
If you wish, you may copy the text below into an email and send it to input@hightech.ee:

9. Filing a claim and liability for non-conformity of goods (consumer rights up to 2 years)
- Hightech is liable for any lack of conformity of goods sold to a consumer that becomes apparent within 2 years from the handover of the goods.
- A claim must be submitted within a reasonable time, but no later than 2 months after discovering the defect, by email to input@hightech.ee or by phone at +372 5333 5628.
- When a defect appears, Hightech will repair or replace the goods; if this is not possible, all payments received under the contract will be refunded to the Buyer.
- For goods with digital elements, Hightech ensures the functionality and security updates necessary for normal use for a reasonable period.
- For legal persons, the manufacturer’s warranty applies under the manufacturer’s terms, where provided.

11. Amendments to these Terms
